Before now, you could see each Organization member’s progress and the Organization’s progress as a whole, but you couldn’t see each member’s progress relative to each other. Our new leaderboards (on the Progress screen) let you see exactly that. Now you can see a leaderboard with each member of your Organization sorted by percent accountable then by percent of tasks done. There’s no place to hide, and that’s a good thing. The number of tasks done and the number of tasks assigned come later in the sort order, but we give priority to whoever’s being the most accountable (i.e., whoever’s marked the highest percentage of their tasks, regardless of whether those tasks are marked with the Done, Doing, or Not Doing task statuses. You can view leaderboards for the Organization overall or for any Area in the Organization. Note that only people with 1 or more assigned tasks during the reporting period are included in the report.
“Now you can see a leaderboard with each member of your Organization sorted by percent accountable then by percent of tasks done. There’s no to place hide, and that’s a good thing.”
Leaderboards let you see each Organization member’s accountability relative to each other, but what about seeing your relative accountability by Organization? Enter: the task summary. As its name implies, the task summary shows a summary of your accountability to tasks assigned to you across all Organizations you’re a member of (make that ‘across all Organizations of which you are a member’ for you grammarians out there). Maybe you’re doing really well in one Organization but dropping the ball in another. Now there’s nowhere for your neglected Organizations to hide—they’ll be right there at the bottom of your list, waiting for you to be more accountable. Remember, the goal is not to always get 100% of your tasks done (though if you do that routinely, kudos to you); the goal is to be 100% accountable for your tasks. And with the new task summary view this is easier than ever. You can view your task summary on the Progress screen by selecting all Organizations, all Areas, and yourself.
Automated Email Reports
The leaderboards and task summary are great accountability tools, but you can only view them when you’re signed in to Tactick. To maximize the availability of these tools, we’ve added a Performance Emails section on the Settings screen. Here you can choose to have a Task Summary report delivered to your inbox daily, weekly, and/or monthly (remember, this includes only tasks assigned to you). For Organizations for which you are an admin (you’re welcome, grammar geeks), you can choose to have Org Reports sent to you daily, weekly, and/or monthly as well (these are Organization-wide leaderboard views). Daily emails are sent in the morning for the prior day, weekly emails are sent on Mondays for the prior week (Sunday through Saturday), and monthly emails are sent on the 1st of the month for the prior month.
We hope that seeing these new features gets you even more motivated to better account for your recurring tasks and achieve more of your goals! If your team isn’t on Tactick yet, you can start a free trial through the end of next month for you and everyone on your team! If you already have a Tactick account, you can sign in here. Here’s to making your success routine.
